Basketball Recap: Sandusky Extends Road Winning Streak to 16

Sandusky won the last time they faced Bad Axe and things went their way on Thursday too. The Sandusky Wolves walked away with a 44-31 victory over the Bad Axe Hatchets. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Hatchets are ranked 356th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sandusky's win was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-1. As for Bad Axe, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8-1.

Sandusky has already played their next contest, a 53-29 victory against Dryden on the 21st. As for Bad Axe, they will take on Harbor Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harbor Beach will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Bad Axe surely won't give up without a fight.
