Football Recap: Memphis East Takes a Loss

Memphis East fell victim to Bolton and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were dealt a 54-0 defeat at the hands of the Wildcats. The loss leaves the Mustangs still looking for their first win of the season.

Memphis East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Bolton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Memphis East is set to face off against their familiar foe Douglass at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bolton will challenge rival Wooddale at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
