Albany skates past Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene with ease

The Albany Lions put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene 66-0 on the road. Considering Albany has won seven matches by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Adam Hill continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 98 yards and three touchdowns, while also catching a touchdown. Hill was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 54 yards. Cason Fairchild was in the mix too, providing Albany with two touchdowns.

Albany's win was their 11th straight on the road (dating back to last season), which pushed their record up to 10-0. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 12-1 Wink and 8-2 Hawley (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 57.1% over those games). As for Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Albany will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Eldorado at 7:00 p.m. Eldorado will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 887th, while Albany is ranked 196th).
