Williams entered their tilt with Burney on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 2-0. That looming 2-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Yellowjackets yet this season.

Williams easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14.

Burney lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ciera Wilson, who had 36 digs. Wilson is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season. Alexis Witzel was another key player, getting 24 digs and one block.

Williams' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Burney, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Williams will be playing in front of their home fans against East Nicolaus at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Burney, they will venture away from home to square off against Hayfork at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
