Basketball Recap: North White Vikings vs. Sheridan Blackhawks
North White was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 72-24 loss at the hands of the Sheridan Blackhawks. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-7.
Caleb Wright was his usual excellent self, going 6 for 11 on his way to 18 points and seven steals for Sheridan. Wright's afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Trey Page was another key player, going 5 of 10 on his way to 16 points and three steals.
North White's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Sheridan, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
North White will challenge Oregon-Davis at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Sheridan, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 85-55 win against Hagerstown on the 28th.
