Basketball Recap: Waitsburg Comes Up Short

Waitsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 60-18 loss at the hands of the Dayton Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-20 on January 3rd.

Waitsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Dayton, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-8.

When Waitsburg and Dayton next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Waitsburg will square off against Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian and their six-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dayton will try to stop Garfield-Palouse's 16-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
