River Bluff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 54-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chapin Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gators of the 50-40 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Meghan Tucker and Jenna Johnson certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Tucker almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine boards, while Johnson posted 16 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. Those 19 points gave Tucker a new career-high.

Even though they lost, River Bluff smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in five consecutive contests.
