White Knoll and Spring Valley are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The White Knoll Timberwolves will be taking part in a tournament against the Spring Valley Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. Spring Valley took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on White Knoll, who comes in off a win.

White Knoll's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They blew past Dreher 15-0. The high-scoring effort was just what the Timberwolves needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Jacob Buol looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Chance Culley, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Denzel Posey, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Spring Valley was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Westside. The loss was the Vikings' first of the season.

Spring Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daniel Bledsoe, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Having lost for the first time this season, Spring Valley fell to 1-1-2. As for White Knoll, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

White Knoll suffered a grim 12-3 defeat to Spring Valley in their previous matchup back in March of 2023. Can White Knoll avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
