Basketball Recap: Mill River Comes Up Short

Mill River lost against Mt. St. Joseph Academy back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mill River Minutemen lost to the Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave on the road by a 47-32 margin. The Minutemen's loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Mill River's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Mt. St. Joseph Academy, their win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mill River will take on Long Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. St. Joseph Academy, they will face off against Mt. Abraham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
