The Tyler Legacy Raiders will square off against the North Forney Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tyler Legacy has given up an average of 42.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Tyler Legacy managed to slip by Rockwall-Heath the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Raiders had to suffer through a 51-21 loss at the hands of the Hawks. The contest marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Tyler Legacy might have lost, but man, DJ Owens was a machine: he picked up 121 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. The Raiders also got help from Takaiden Brown, who showed off his sure hands for 121 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, North Forney put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past Forney with points to spare, taking the game 35-16.
North Forney had a senior duo take command as Legend Bey rushed for 90 yards and two scores on only ten carries and Andikan Asuquo rushed for 124 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries. Those 124 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Asuquo.
North Forney was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 267 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 215 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
North Forney didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Deuce Gilbert and Aayden Minger. Gilbert has been hot recently, having posted at least one interception the last three times he's played.
Tyler Legacy dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for North Forney, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
