Volleyball Recap: Providence Athletic Club Falls to Greenville H in First Game of Season

Providence Athletic Club kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Greenville H Hurricanes, falling 3-0. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hurricanes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Providence Athletic Club couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Greenville H a tough time in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 32-30, 25-19.

Greenville H has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Providence Athletic Club will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on James F. Byrnes at 6:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Greenville H, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Riverside on the 18th.
