Volleyball Recap: York Prep Takes a Loss

York Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chesterfield Golden Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

York Prep took Chesterfield into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking ten-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-18, 25-19, 24-26, 15-5.

York Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Chesterfield, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. York Prep will face off against Chester at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chesterfield, they will square off against North Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
