Farmington is a perfect 3-0 against Edina since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Tigers will take on the Hornets. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Edina will be up against a hot Farmington team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Shakopee 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since April 21st.

Meanwhile, Edina came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Trojans.

Edina pushed their record up to 14-8-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Farmington, their win bumped their record up to 15-7.

Farmington beat Edina 7-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2015. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
