Volleyball Recap: Dos Pueblos Comes Up Short

Dos Pueblos lost against Santa Barbara last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chargers came up short against the Dons, falling 3-0. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-19.

Leading Santa Barbara to victory were Jules Horton and Grace Costner. Horton had five digs and two aces, while Costner had 11 digs and five aces. Horton has been hot, having also posted 22 or more assists the last seven times she's played. Gigi Yoshimi also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Dos Pueblos' defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Santa Barbara, their record is now 11-12.

Dos Pueblos has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Bishop Diego on the 27th. As for Santa Barbara, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Mission College Prep on the 27th.
