Volleyball Recap: Antonian Prep Comes Up Short

Antonian Prep lost against Cedar Park back in August of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Apaches fell 2-0 to the Timberwolves.

Jordyn Daniels paced Antonian Prep's offense, picking up six kills. Daniels got some help from Camilla Serna and her 14 assists. Serna was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Among those leading the charge was Anna Kurz, who had ten digs and two assists. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

Antonian Prep's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Cedar Park, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Antonian Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against O'Connor on the 22nd. As for Cedar Park, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Tivy on the 22nd.
