Dunsmuir's Dayton Pepperdine rumbled for the longest rushing play in California - North (8 Man) this season in his game against Happy Camp last week. Pepperdine's team defeated the Indians as he sprinted for 85 yards on the play and finished with 215 in all.
Trako Saluskin and Coby Taylor provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Big Valley. The connection was good for 85 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.
Pepperdine was a beast in the backfield as Dunsmuir beat Happy Camp.
Hunter Hawkins threw for 226 yards and 5 touchdowns.
Hawkins put up the best numbers through the air as the Cardinals defeated Tulelake. Hawkins' favorite target this week was Collin Owens, who caught 3 passes for 100 yards.
The Honkers' Saluskin and Taylor led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Saluskin has thrown for 1,349 yards this season, while Taylor has 22 catches for 677 yards. Pepperdine from Chris Ballard's team leads the league in rushing with 1,641 yards.
Brandon Klopfer has rushed for 976 yards on 100 carries so far this year.
The Tigers added to the longest winning streak in California - North (8 Man) this week by beating Bob Parry's team, 43-0. The victory was the 10th in a row for Dunsmuir.
