Football Recap: Chester County Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Heath Strewart and Jayden Williams + How To Watch

After flying high against Memphis East last Friday, Chester County came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Adamsville Cardinals by a score of 14-12 on Friday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

Chester County's loss came despite strong showings from Jayden Williams and Heath Strewart. Williams gained 113 total yards, while Strewart rushed for 25 yards and one TD.

Chester County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Adamsville, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Chester County and Adamsville will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Eagles will challenge rival South Gibson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Adamsville is set to face off against their familiar foe Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
