Basketball Recap: Faith Bible Christian Academy/Mid-America Prep Takes a Loss

Faith Bible Christian Academy/Mid-America Prep played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 59-25 loss at the hands of the Arthur-Okaw Christian Conquering Riders. The game marked the Frank's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Arthur-Okaw Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Annabelle Haskins out in front who went 9-for-10 on her way to 20 points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Haskins a new career-high in shooting accuracy (90%). Avery Herschberger was another key player, going 5-for-11 en route to 14 points and eight steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Faith Bible Christian Academy/Mid-America Prep fell to 5-1. As for Arthur-Okaw Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

Coming up, Faith Bible Christian Academy/Mid-America Prep will head out to face off against Berean Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Berean Christian's defense has only allowed 29 points per game this season, so Faith Bible Christian Academy/Mid-America Prep's offense will have their work cut out for them. Arthur-Okaw Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
