Football Recap: Mogollon's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

After soaring to 62 points the game before, Mogollon was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They came up short against the Bagdad Sultans, falling 32-12. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 48-26 to the Sultans when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bagdad's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ezrah Aguilar, who threw for 203 yards and one TD on only 18 passes, and also punched in a pair of touchdowns on the ground. A healthy portion of Aguilar's aerial production (134 yards to be exact) went to Josiah Kirchoff, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mogollon fell to 2-1. As for Bagdad, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Mogollon will be playing at home against Hayden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Lobos have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Bagdad, they will head out on the road to take on Williams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
