Hiram hadn't done well against Chapel Hill recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Hornets walked away with a 2-0 win over the Panthers. The victory was some much needed relief for the Hornets as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Hiram's win bumped their record up to 5-21. As for Chapel Hill, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
