Recap: Hilliard Darby Panthers vs. Pickerington North Panthers
On Friday, Hilliard Darby ended up a good deal behind Pickerington North and lost 35-16. While losing is never fun, Hilliard Darby can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Pickerington North is ranked tenth).
Pickerington North can attribute much of their success to Michael Taylor, who rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Preston Bowman also helped out with an impressive 100 receiving yards.
Hilliard Darby's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Pickerington North, their win was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 11-1.
Hilliard Darby does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pickerington North will head out on the road to face off against Hilliard Bradley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
