In Tuesday's Canine Competition, Wonderful College Prep Academy came out on top. Everything went their way against the Golden Valley Bulldogs on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Wonderful College Prep Academy never let Golden Valley on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 25-18.

Daniela Macias paced Wonderful College Prep Academy's offense, picking up 14 kills. Macias got some help from Selena Rico and her 11 assists. Macias was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Golden Valley's loss came despite strong showings from Sofia Amaya and Esmeralda Frausto. Amaya had 29 digs and three assists, while Frausto had 12 digs and five kills.

Wonderful College Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Golden Valley, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Wonderful College Prep Academy will take on Bakersfield in a tournament on Friday. As for Golden Valley, they will be taking part in a tournament against Garces Memorial at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
