Sierra Lutheran lost to Loyalton back in October of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Falcons simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Grizzlies 42-12. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-6.

Sierra Lutheran's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gianni Gabriel, who rushed for 134 yards and three scores on only six carries. Gabriel's longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Scott Schroder was another key player, gaining 98 total yards and two touchdowns.

Sierra Lutheran's record now sits at 5-0. As for Loyalton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sierra Lutheran will welcome Silver Stage at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Falcons will be up against the Nighthawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.25 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
