Preview: Borrego Springs Rams vs. West Shores Wildcats
The Borrego Springs Rams will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the West Shores Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Friday, Borrego Springs was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 42-37 to Julian.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to West Shores, who are still winless after their 16th matchup. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 43-22 walloping at the hands of Warner on Friday. West Shores has not had much luck with Warner recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Borrego Springs now has a losing record at 7-8. As for West Shores, they bumped their record down to 0-16 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Borrego Springs strolled past West Shores when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 60-42. Will Borrego Springs repeat their success, or does West Shores have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
