Soccer Game Preview: Penn vs. Crown Point

The Penn Kingsmen will take on the Crown Point Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Penn is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They never let Northridge get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Penn's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matches.

Meanwhile, Crown Point faced Chesterton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Bulldogs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Trojans, sneaking past 1-0. Give Crown Point's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Addy Sabau, who's now up to 20 this season.

Crown Point's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Penn, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4-4.
