Soccer Recap: Byron Takes a Loss

After flying high against Indian Creek on Monday, Byron came back down to earth. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses on Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked Byron's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Byron's loss dropped their record down to 13-3-2. As for Dixon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Byron will face off against Orion/Sherrard at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dixon, they will square off against Rochelle at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
