If Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Bethel Christian Academy on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Gryphons came up short against the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Gryphons in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost six in a row.

Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 25-20.
