Waccamaw kept a clean sheet against Newberry on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for Waccamaw, who have now won 11 games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Newberry with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Halina Gregory (2), Lindsay Latimer (2), Lilian Stratton, and Hayden Hogan.

The victory (which was Waccamaw's third in a row) raised their record to 11-10-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Newberry, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-8-1.

Waccamaw has already played their next match, a 6-0 victory against Hanahan on the 13th. Newberry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
