Basketball Game Preview: South Kitsap Wolves vs. Klahowya Eagles

South Kitsap is on an eight-game streak of home losses also dating back to last season, Klahowya a four-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Monday. The South Kitsap Wolves will welcome the Klahowya Eagles at 7:00 p.m.

On Saturday, South Kitsap was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 56-52 to Peninsula. That's two games in a row now that the Wolves have lost by exactly four points.

Meanwhile, Klahowya hadn't done well against Vashon Island recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Klahowya walked away with a 60-47 win over Vashon Island. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Eagles' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Klahowya's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for South Kitsap, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
