Volleyball Recap: Whitmer Panthers vs. Clay Eagles

Whitmer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Clay Eagles, falling 3-0. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Whitmer was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16, 25-21.

Khloe Nelson paced Whitmer's offense, picking up nine kills. Nelson got some help from Hayden Harmon and her 12 assists. Finally, Brianna Blair kept Whitmer's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Whitmer's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Clay, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
