Basketball Recap: Aiden Elliott's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Meeteetse over Dubois

Meeteetse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 55-48 to the Dubois Rams. The Longhorns were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Meeteetse lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Aiden Elliott, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Johnathan Ogden, who posted 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists.

Meeteetse's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Dubois, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Riverside the next time they take the court. Meeteetse will head out to face Riverside at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Dubois will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
