Volleyball Recap: Lynbrook Takes a Loss

Lynbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Harker Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat on April 11th.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 27-25, 25-19.

Lynbrook's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Harker, they pushed their record up to 23-5 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lynbrook is set to square off against their familiar foe Homestead at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Harker will challenge rival Monta Vista at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
