It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fremont had no problem doing just that on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 43-29 win over the Bethany Christian Bruins. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles who have now won six contests in a row.

Bethany Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Ellie Morris and Karlee Crume. Morris went 5 for 11 en route to 13 points and five assists, while Crume posted seven points and nine boards. Crume is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

Fremont's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Bethany Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.

Coming up, Fremont won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bethany Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
