Desert Vista barely beat Liberty the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Thunder put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. The Thunder not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 27th (when they won 3-0).

Desert Vista's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-20. As for Liberty, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

Desert Vista will face off against Sunnyslope at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Thunder surely won't give up without a fight. As for Liberty, they will square off against Mountain Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions are facing the Mountain Lions at the right time seeing as the Mountain Lions are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
