Football Game Preview: Bishop Verot Vikings vs. Lake Placid Dragons

The Bishop Verot Vikings will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Lake Placid Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop Verot will be strutting in after a win while Lake Placid will be coming in after a loss.

Bishop Verot is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Gateway. Bishop Verot never let Gateway get on the board and left with a 26-0 victory on Thursday.

Bishop Verot didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Adele Von Gruben, Lila Dinkel, and Sofia Roman picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, Lake Placid unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. The match between them and Avon Park didn't end well, with Lake Placid falling 20-6.
