Baseball Recap: Johnson Takes a Loss

Johnson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Roosevelt Teddies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Governors of the 12-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

Johnson's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnson will head out to face off against Camden at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Roosevelt, they will venture away from home to challenge Academy of Holy Angels at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
