Baseball Recap: Snyder Comes Up Short

Snyder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Hollis Tigers, falling 15-5. The Cyclones were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Snyder saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kalab King, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.

Snyder's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Hollis, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-10-1.

Coming up, Snyder will look to defend their home field on Monday against Hobart at 4:30 p.m. As for Hollis, they will square off against Sayre at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
