Basketball Recap: GREEN Upstate Takes a Loss

GREEN Upstate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 64-49 fall against the Walhalla Razorbacks.

Walhalla got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jacob Wise out in front who went 7 of 13 en route to 22 points. The dominant performance gave Wise a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Darian Simpkins, who posted ten points and six steals.

GREEN Upstate now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Walhalla, their win bumped their record up to 4-11.

GREEN Upstate wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 35-33 loss against Dixie on the 3rd. As for Walhalla, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-65 victory against Chapman on the 3rd.
