Volleyball Recap: Armada Comes Up Short

Armada lost against Croswell-Lexington back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pioneers.

While Armada ultimately came up short, they really made Croswell-Lexington work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-19.

Croswell-Lexington can attribute much of their success to Emma Adams, who had ten digs and two aces. Adams has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Armada's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Croswell-Lexington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-19.

Croswell-Lexington has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Bishop Foley on the 18th. Hopefully Armada paid attention to the Pioneers' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Pioneers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
