 Hamlin is 0-10 against Stamford since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Friday. The Hamlin Pied Pipers will head out on the road to  face off against  the Stamford Bulldogs at 5:00  p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
 Hamlin was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight  defeat. They suffered a  rough 21-5 loss at the hands of Haskell.
  Mea Reyes made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-2 with two  RBI and a  double.  Laynee Claterbaugh was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought  match, but Stamford had to settle for  a  6-4 defeat against Haskell on Thursday.
 Hamlin's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Stamford, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.
 Hamlin suffered a grim  16-0 defeat to Stamford  in their previous meeting  back in March. Can Hamlin avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
