The Lawton Blue Devils are taking a road trip to  face off against the Saugatuck Trailblazers  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Saugatuck took a loss in their last  matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lawton, who comes in off a win.
Lawton is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They blew past Coloma, posting  a  70-27 victory. The  win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Comets: they've now won seven in a row.
 Wyatt Streeter was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 198 yards and three  scores on only seven carries. Those  three  rushing touchdowns gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Brady Quick, who rushed for 43 yards and a pair of  touchdowns.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lawton was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 476  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Saugatuck was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They came up short against  Schoolcraft, falling  33-13. While losing is never fun, the Trailblazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 411th, while the Eagles are ranked 151st).
 Lawton will have to contain  Max Page as he made an impact in Saugatuck's last game. He rushed for 103 yards and one  TD.
 Lawton's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Saugatuck, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
 Lawton strolled past Saugatuck in their previous meeting  back in October of 2024 by a score of  26-10. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
