After both having extra time off, the University Trailblazers and the Riverside Argonauts will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Riverside took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on University, who comes in off a win.
On Wednesday, University made easy work of Bethesda Christian and carried off a 3-0 win. The Trailblazers haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 25-9.

University can attribute much of their success to Sarah Coleman, who had seven digs and two aces. That's the most digs Coleman has posted over her last six matches.
Meanwhile, Riverside came up short against International on Wednesday and fell 3-1.
Riverside started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-8, 25-10, 25-12.
Riverside dropped their record down to 4-10 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for University, their win bumped their record up to 11-16.
Everything went University's way against Riverside in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as University made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Trailblazers repeat their success, or do the Argonauts have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
