Basketball Recap: St. Ignatius Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thompson Falls, St. Ignatius was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They secured a 52-48 W over the Superior Bobcats. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 54-46 victory last Friday.

St. Ignatius has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-13 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points over those games. Superior is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

St. Ignatius has already played their next game, a 57-53 defeat against Lincoln County on the 22nd. Superior does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
