Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Atlantic Coast walked away with it. They secured a 51-47 W over the Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Stingrays.

Despite the loss, Flagler Palm Coast had strong showings from Ava Works, who posted 19 points and six steals, and Alexandra Perez, who scored 18 points and four steals. Works has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kierra Clark, who earned eight points.

Atlantic Coast's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Flagler Palm Coast, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-8 record this season.

Atlantic Coast won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Creekside at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Flagler Palm Coast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
