Lockwood skates past Jefferson Independent Day with ease

The Lockwood Tigers waltzed into Monday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Jefferson Independent Day 59-19 at home. That looming 59-19 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Lockwood yet this season.
Despite the defeat, Jefferson Independent Day saw an underclassman step up: Jaxx Wisdom scored five points.
Lockwood's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Jefferson Independent Day, they have fallen quite a ways from their 21-7 record last season and are now at 2-6.
Lockwood will head out on the road to face off against Greenfield at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Jefferson Independent Day won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Jasper at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th.
