Volleyball Recap: Nemaha Central Takes a Loss

Nemaha Central lost against Silver Lake back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Thunder fell 2-0 to the Eagles.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-18.

Meg Honeyman paced Nemaha Central's offense, picking up three kills. Honeyman got some help from Brooklyn Uphaus and her five assists.

Jaylie Whitehead went supernova For Silver Lake., getting 19 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Whitehead has posted since back in September.

Nemaha Central's defeat dropped their record down to 18-16. As for Silver Lake, their victory was their 12th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 35-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Nemaha Central by a score of 2-0 later that day.
