Recap: Traders Point Christian Knights vs. Indiana Math & Science Academy North Knights

The Traders Point Christian Knights won the last time they faced the Indiana Math & Science Academy North Knights, and things went their way on Friday too. Traders Point Christian sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 42-39 victory over Indiana Math & Science Academy North. The win made it back-to-back wins for Traders Point Christian.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Traders Point Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Quentin Jones, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Joel Cook, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds and two steals.

When it comes to explaining why Indiana Math & Science Academy North lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jeremiah Oliver. Despite the final result, he scored seven points along with nine rebounds and eight assists. Oliver has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasaum Sowell, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds.

Traders Point Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Indiana Math & Science Academy North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Traders Point Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cascade at 6:00 p.m. on January 13th. Cascade is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Indiana Math & Science Academy North on the road again on Tuesday and play against Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th.
