Soccer Recap: Rock Hill Comes Up Short

If Rock Hill was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Northwestern two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bearcats fell just short of the Catawba Ridge Copperheads by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for Rock Hill in their meetings with Catawba Ridge: they've now lost seven in a row.

Rock Hill's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Catawba Ridge, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Rock Hill wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 5-0 victory against York on the 30th. As for Catawba Ridge, they will take on Clover at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
