There's no place like home for Pacifica, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Foothill Tech Dragons 3-2 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tritons have posted since February 26th.

Devon Wilkes was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Wilkes wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was JJ Carmona, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Max Bautista also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Pacifica's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Foothill Tech, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pacifica will venture away from home to take on San Fernando at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Foothill Tech, they will head out to challenge Milken at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games Milken has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
