Soccer Recap: Mt. Hebron Comes Up Short

Mt. Hebron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Long Reach Lightning. Mt. Hebron were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Long Reach apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Mt. Hebron's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Long Reach, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6-1.

Coincidentally, Mt. Hebron and Long Reach will both be playing Howard the next time they take the pitch. The Lightning will head out to face the Lions on Tuesday, while the Vikings will head out to face them on Wednesday.
